Heat Pumps now with £7,500 grant!

What is an Air Source Heat Pump?

A Heat Pump is a unit that will be located outside of the property. It takes air in through the pump and boosts it to a higher temperature. The Heat pump does use electricity to power the unit but will use less electricity to power the Heat Pump than the heat it will provide for your property. On average every unit of electricity the Heat pump uses for power it will generate 2-3 units of heat.

There are many reasons why considering having a Heat Pump Installed is a positive investment.

  • Heat Pumps can save money on your heating bills
  • Heat Pumps are environmental friendly compared to other forms of heating like Oil, Coal and Gas. Heat Pumps will help to reduce these Co2 emissions
  • Heat Pumps require very little or no maintenance although service contracts are offered.
  • We charge £250 for a full heat loss calculation and home inspection.  This provides an in depth report on the homes heat requirement with suitable sized heat pump fully costed proposal and indicative running costs and savings.
  • We also have a full range of super efficient electric radiators.  We have one here at The Solar Shed if looking for a demonstration.
  • Heat pumps currently attract a £7,500 grant.
