October 2023 heralded a new era in home energy systems in the UK when EnPhase, the American Microinverter company (Established 2006) finally launched their eagerly awaited battery into the UK.
This battery is built different. First of all, you get to use 100% of the stored capacity it’s cobalt free and comes with an industry leading 15 yr warranty. What makes it unique though is that it uses lower voltage microinverters. Safer, more reliable and zero single point of failure.
EnPhase has been producing microinverters longer than we have been in the game and as each panel has it’s own microinverter attached, that means there is no big and bulky boxes to be placed in the house.
There are many differences between string inverters and Microinverters and whilst string inverters are by far the most affordable in the short term, our experiences tell us that over the mid to long term, homeowners that have opted for microinverters have far fewer customer concerns, or service calls.
